Description:

Revolutionary Radnor: Part One

Monday, 6/17  6:30-7:30pm

An event at The Finley House

In Partnership with Radnor Historical Society

Refreshments will be served. We have chairs but feel free to bring a blanket. In the event of extreme heat or rain, we can use the Winsor Room at the Library and it will be announced on facebook.

Between September 1777 & April 1778, the Revolutionary War involved Radnor Township directly. It was the setting for Generals Washington, Cornwallis & Howe through which to march, as well as the Continental Congress' passing on its journey westward, after the occupation of Philadelphia by the British. This 3-part talk will be presented by local historian, Jim Segrave-Daly.

Jim Segrave-Daly is an RHS member, volunteer board member of Haverford Township Historical Society,   America250PADelco volunteer, creator/presenter of History for Shut-Ins on Facebook & YouTube, American Revolutionary Roundtable of Philadelphia member, volunteer history teacher at Haverford Township Adult School & history presenter to libraries & civic groups nationwide.
