Congratulations to the Haverford Township Free Library!​ We are proud to announce their status as a Gold Star Library under the PA Library Association's PAForward Initiative. This program tasks libraries, which have moved far beyond being just book repositories, with refocusing and reinforcing the ways in which they can support Pennsylvanians in leading successful, productive lives. In order to do this, the library has spent the past year with an increased focus on the Five Literacies, which are: Basic, Information, Civic & Social, Health, and Financial. 

If you've visited HTFL (digitally or physically!) in the past year, chances are that you experienced a program or service that worked in support of one of these Literacies. From Books & Babies to Tea & Stitch, Book a Librarian to KinderCode. And they're not done yet! The Haverford Township Free Library remains committed to providing programs, materials, and services that will continue to serve the literacy needs of Haverford Township and the public at large.
