Celebrate Fatherhood Awareness Month at J. Lewis Crozer Library!
We are thrilled to announce our ongoing partnership with The Foundation for Delaware County's Fatherhood Program. Join us for our second annual Celebration of Fatherhood, featuring an inspiring StoryWalk® with pages from In Daddy's Arms I Am Tall: African Americans Celebrating Fathers by various poets, illustrated by Javaka Steptoe, displayed on podiums along a scenic path surrounding the library. This event provides a wonderful opportunity for children and families to enjoy reading and the outdoors together!
About the Fatherhood Program:
This program supports fathers, partners, and parents-to-be through casual gatherings, support groups, and special events with the aim of equipping fathers and partners with the same level of resources, information, and support that mothers receive. Fathers are also invited to join the monthly Fatherhood Engagement Committee to help enhance local support systems for dads throughout Delaware County.
