In Partnership with Nutritional Development Services
This summer kids can get free breakfast or lunch at select Delaware County Libraries through a partnership with Nutritional Development Services (NDS), an agency of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. The libraries providing free meals are the Norwood Public Library, Sharon Hill Public Library, and Yeadon Public Library.
The Norwood Public Library is offering free lunches to children, ages 18 and under, beginning Monday, June 17 and ending on Thursday, August 22. They will be served Monday through Thursday, except the July 4 holiday, between Noon and 1:00 pm, on a first-come basis. All lunches must be consumed in the library. The Sharon Hill Public Library will be serving free lunches beginning Monday, June 17 through Friday, August 16 from Noon to 2:00 pm. Lunches will be available for children ages 6-17, Monday through Friday. SHPL will also be offering free breakfast beginning Monday, July 8 through Friday, August 16 from 9:00am-10:00am. The Yeadon Public Library will have free lunches available for children Monday through Friday, June 17 until July 26 as part of their arts & crafts program. The arts and crafts portion begins at 11:00 am. Lunch will be served daily at Noon and must be eaten in the building. For more information, please call 610-623-4090.
