Libby On Your Kindle

Here's what you need to know to download eBooks and audiobooks from Libby onto your Kindle. 

What you will need:

• Your Kindle
• Your Amazon ID and password
• Your library card
• Another device with the Libby app installed, such as a phone, tablet, or computer
• WiFi

Getting a Title From Libby to Your Kindle

There are two ways to get a title from Libby onto your Kindle:

• Login to Libby on your other device to search for and borrow the title. 
• Go to your Shelf and find the title. Tap "Read With" and choose Kindle. If you are not logged into Amazon you will be prompted to do so.
• Select the device you wish to use or Kindle Cloud Reader.

- OR -

• Login to Libby on your other device and tap Library ().
• Tap the Filter button () and scroll down to the "Read With" section.
• Tap Kindle, then tap the green oval towards the top that tells you how many titles are available. 
• When you see a title that interests you, tap "Borrow."
• Tap "Read Now With Kindle," then tap "Get Library Book."  If you are not logged into Amazon you will be prompted to do so.
• Select the device you wish to use or Kindle Cloud Reader.

Have a Kindle Fire?

To read on a Kindle Fire, you have two options:

Follow the instructions above for getting a title from Libby to your Kindle.
