Exciting and informational activities and materials!

For the third year in a row, The Community’s Foundation (TCF) has awarded The Library Foundation of Delaware County with a grant to host Wildlife Education programs in libraries.

This year, join us for virtual events from Eyes of the Wild Rescue every Wednesday at 7pm and learn about five new animals each week with the Wallaby Tales team. We will also be hosting Are You Smarter Than a Mammalogist Trivia that will challenge your mammal knowledge. (Did you know that newborn blue whales gain 8 pounds per hour?) In addition, check out our Tails and Tales Trivia each week on our Facebook page, @delawarecountylibraries, beginning on Monday, June 7. As part of the grant, each library will be receiving four titles to add to their collections from Science Naturally. Stop by and check out a copy! You can also read the books If My Mom Were a Platypus and This is How I Grow at StoryWalk in Rose Tree Park in June and July, respectively.
